MARY’S REVIEW

Sacked in Seattle is a truly emotional, second chance romance.  Riley and Tiff were friends from high school who both suffered a tragedy at the hands of Tiff’s ex-boyfriend.  As a result of this tragedy they became really good friends, friends who also shared one night of passion.  Both thought that there was more between them yet they never had a chance to explore those feelings when Tiff fled to  California.

Losing his friend, not to mention the person he was in love with, left Riley heart broken.  Still reeling from not only from Tiff’s departure he was still trying to move forward from the tragedy they had both encountered.

Three years after leaving Seattle, Tiff returns home.  When her parents get divorced and the financial impact of that, she is no longer able to attend college in California.  Unknow to Tiff she finds herself attending the same college as Riley.

The thing that Tiff doesn’t know is that Riley has demons of his own.  A mother who was an addict, prostitute and had spent years as a youngster living homeless with her.  His Uncle Coop was his salvation and raised him.  These were secrets that Riley kept to himself but also from Tiff.

Then one evening at a frat party Tiff sees Riley across the room.  When they lock eyes, panic sets in and once again she runs.  Anxious about the outcome of seeing Riley and past events has her pretty shaken up.  So, it’s inevitable that once again she will run again!  Once again, she runs.

No matter how much Tiff runs or pushes Riley away…. Riley is even more determined to win her back.  Riley shows so much patience and is the sweetest ever.  In spite of his heart being broken by Tiff he feels the chemistry between them is greater.

Sacked in Seattle had lots of feels and tons of angst!  And holy moly was Riley the bomb!!
