Her vile words not only hurt but also make him feel responsible for taking care of her. This wickedness only made him want to get away from her.

I high school Damien is befriended by Cam Ahem. They become fast friends. Upon seeing a picture of his twin sister, Thea, he is instantly infatuated with her and her radiant smile. It wasn’t until he went home with Cam one night that he finally met the Ahem family and Thea.

Not only had Damien found a friend in Cam but he was also welcomed into the Ahem family. He saw the love and happiness the family shared knew this is what he wanted in his life. It was the first time in his life that he saw and felt love. With Mr. Ahem’s guidance and encouragement, Damien grew into a honorable and law-abiding man.

Now let’s talk about Thea! Meeting her Damien just knew she was the one. The spark between them was instant and intense. Thea and Damien’s friendship grew into much more than that. They loved and they loved hard. The chemistry between them was white hot. Planning their future seemed to be the only wrinkle in their plans to be together. Thea would be going to NYU and Damien would end up enlisting into the Army. Always planning to reunite at the end of this four years.

Then four years became more and the timing was always off for them. Though the love they had for each other was always there it just never seemed the right time. Damien moved on with his career in the Army becoming a special ops/Green Beret. Thea found her niche in graphic arts. Life went on and the two of them kind of just existed.

When the Ahem family was devastated by a catastrophe event it was time for Damien to come home! Resigning his commission and returning home after thirteen years he would find himself in the thick of utter chaos and danger. As the danger to the Ahem family became more and more apparent it became obvious that his involvement would be crucial.

This also meant that he and Thea would eventually come face to face again….
