WHOA! THIS. BOOK. IS. SIZZLING. HOT!!! Heart fluttering, breath taking, panty melting, highly erotic and filled with FRICTION! I could not put this book down and loved every second of it.
Lucy, was out of work, living with her mom again, and recently divorced after finding her husband, Tom, balls deep with his business partner, Shane. Yeah, a real creep. Not only that but he was threatening to sue her if she didn’t uphold the contract she has signed at the company. Needless to say, Tom also kept her from finding employment too in an effort to make her to come back to work for him.
After trying unsuccessfully to find a job she finally resorted to applying for a job she found on Craig’s List. Little did she have a clue what the job entailed, or what the company made, other than the clock she had seen out front. Was Lucy in for a shock and surprise when she found out what they made!
Even more shocking was to find out that the owner of the company was her high school crush, Jace Exley! In high school, they had been complete opposites. Lucy, an over achiever, excelling at everything. Jace scraping by and popular with the girls. Always giving Lucy crap about being a “know it all” yet secretly crushing on her too.
Even after 10 years, Jace, was even more strikingly handsome than in school. Still has a bit of the British accent that she had fallen for but was now covered in tattoos and every bit as sexy as sin. Everything about seeing Jace again after all this time set her body on fire. You better believe that the sparks did fly between them.
Lucy was a little dynamo, selling herself as the perfect fit for their marketing manager…. just what the company needed. But would Jace offer her the job? The number one rule that Jace had was that he didn’t date with his employees. Once bitten, twice shy…Jace was well aware of how messy things could end up.
Even as prudent as they both were it would be impossible to keep these feelings at bay. Once the line had been crossed there was no turning back.
